To enroll your child in Swannanoa Valley Montessori School for the 2018-2019 school year, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Parent Tour – This hour long tour begins with a short video about Montessori, continues on for observation time in the classroom and finishes with Q & A time and reviewing the admissions packet.
Admissions packet includes application paperwork (see Step 2), Tuition Rates and Fees, and the 2018-2019 School Calendar
Step 2: Complete the Application paperwork – Our admissions paper work includes an application and student questionnaire.

Step 3: Return paperwork to the office along with the non-refundable $75 application fee. Return to 101 Carver Avenue, Black Mountain, NC 28711 or scan and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 4: Schedule a Child Visit – Once we have received everything listed in Step 3, we will call you to schedule the child visit, where your child will spend an hour in the primary or elementary classroom, independent of his/her parents. Your child will interact with the classroom materials, other students in the class and the classroom teachers.
Step 5: Acceptance decision – We will be in touch with you after the Child Visit to let you know if we will be offering your child a spot in our school for 2018-2019.
Step 6: Acceptance – Upon acceptance, we require a $200 non-refundable new student enrollment fee and a $200 non-refundable deposit per child to reserve the spot. You will receive an Acceptance Packet to complete and return to us within 2 weeks.
You will need to submit the following forms (PDF Format). New and returning students must submit forms BEFORE school starts.
