I moved to Asheville from Virginia in 2010 to attend school at AB Tech. I live in Black Mountain with my grandmother, a long time resident of Black Mountain. I have always enjoyed working with children. While in high school I worked for YMCA teaching swim lessons. My future goals are to attend UNC-A and study Art Education. I hope to teach Elementary Art after graduating. I enjoy making pottery, painting and hiking.

*Our Middle School students went to New York City in April for the Montessori Model United Nations. Along with over 700 Montessori students around the world, they played the role of ambassadors in a model UN simulation. SVMS represented Ukraine, as they followed UN procedures and learned how to compromise and work towards peace. Congrats to our students and Mr. Corey as they created resolutions and made a difference in the world.
